Start with AirPlay over Wi-Fi and no Mac app. For USB, open the Streemi.ng Companion and choose a connection level. It detects the tablet, measures the link, and creates a Mac display matched to its size and refresh rate in the native Streemi modes.

Skip the video codec. Tune YUV color sampling, tablet-shaped resolution, and frame rate against a measured bandwidth budget.

RAW is an advanced mode: it keeps HiDPI on and shows when your chosen format exceeds the tested USB link. The companion also offers a receiver-confirmed ADB speed test you can rerun at any time.
